Ceramic coating vs PPF – what’s the difference? Ceramic coating is all about protection and ease of maintenance. It won’t stop stone chips, but it will keep your paint looking better for longer and make washing significantly easier. Paint Protection Film (PPF), on the other hand, is a physical film designed to absorb impact and prevent stone chips and scratches. In simple terms: • Ceramic coating = lock in gloss or matte, oxidation resistance , easier maintenance • PPF = impact protection from road damage; stone chips etc Many of our customers choose ceramic coating on the entire vehicle, with PPF added to high-impact areas for the best of both worlds.
